The Gordon Arms Hotel – About The Area

The Gordon Arms is situated in Fochabers, a beautiful village in Morayshire in the North East Of Scotland. The area is home to a dramatic mountain scenery, an award winning coastline, incredible food, world-famous Speyside flavours, luxury cashmere and a host of world-class golf courses.

Located half way between Aberdeen and Inverness, it is the perfect location to explore the areas famous Malt Whisky Trail or take in a round of gold on one of the many beautiful local golf courses.

The Gordon Arms used to be an Old Coaching House, a theme which stays with the hotel to this day.

Some exciting things to do around Fochabers and the Moray area include to visit plenty of our local businesses, some beautiful beaches with the possibility of seeing dolphins. A short drive from the village will find you on the coast of Scotland and if you are very lucky you may just get to see the Northern Lights dancing in the sky to top off a perfect trip!
